April Book Review: The Hunters by Heidi Angell

Looking for a good Vampire hunting story?

Author Heidi Angell has penned an amazing edge of your seat adventure in her latest work: The Hunters.  The story starts fast, a takes off at an even fast pace, and then smoothly switches to full throttle in the adventure category.  The story surrounds a group of teenagers who have discovered that vampires have been slowly taking over their town, and the rest of the community is unaware of the terror that is growing around them. The teenagers form a band to observe, track and eventually hunt them. The HuntersTheir plans go awry many times, and they get some unexpected help from some experienced hunters along the way.  The experienced vampire hunters want no part in this little band of heroes. Ordering them to lay low, the duo vow to rid their town of vampires. The characters struggle with all the moral implications of killing vampires who were people they knew, and their own conflict for self preservation.  Angell crafts the fast action adventure beginning with the frayed ends of a story already in progress, and neatly weaving the tale together capturing the reader into the fabric. The Hunters does not disappoint, and leaves the door open for more books in this fantastic urban fantasy underworld setting.  A fast and exciting read, this is one of our featured books to start the month of April.  You will thoroughly enjoy this eBook, and will find it hard to put it down!  Let's all hope that Heidi Angell writes more in this genre!
